Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to another school year at Livermore Falls Middle School. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the changes in Guidance Services at the middle school this year.
My hours at LFMS will be from 7:30 am to 9:50 am. Christopher Beaudoin,
SAD#36's, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be providing guidance services from 10:00 - 2:00. We will be assisting each other in the needs of students, staff and parents in the community.
As school counselors, Mr. Beaudoin and I will be working closely with parents, students, and staff members to promote a safe and caring learning environment. Some character education topics we may focus on include: being respectful to self and others, using responsible behaviors in and outside of school, caring for self and others, and being honest. Other issues being addressed will be: learning how to resolve conflicts, making friends, dealing with bullies and how to prevent bullying in school. In addition to social issues, we will assist in academic concerns.
Individual and group counseling will be offered. Students may be self-referred, referred by parents, teachers and administrators, or counseling may be required as part of an IEP for special needs students.
If Mr. Beaudoin or I can assist you in any way please call. My phone number is 897-2121 ext. 208. Mr. Beaudoin's phone number is 897-2121 ext. 110. Please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
I look forward to working with you, your students and the staff at Livermore Falls Middle School.
Sincerely,
Grace Eaton
